One treat I really enjoy making and eating is pizza. My daughter would eat it for breakfast, lunch and dinner if given the chance. A friend gave me a package of pepperoni and my 1st thought was Pizza! It was the small silver dollar sizes which were just perfect for pizza.
I got home and immediately got out my bread machine to knead the dough. I decided to use white whole wheat instead of the regular all-purpose flour. After an hour and a half the dough was ready to be rolled out. The recipe was enough to make two 9″ thin crust pizzas.
To make the sauce I combined Hunts Traditional Spaghetti Sauce, BBQ sauce and Ketchup. I also add dried seasonings to the mix. One pizza was topped with pepperoni and the other with bacon and chicken hot dog.
On the top I chose two different kinds of cheddar. Cheddar is my favorite kind of cheese and I make sure to always have it around. Kraft Kracker Barrel Extra Sharp Cheddar has to be the best cheese around. For me, its followed closely by Anchor Vegetarian Cheddar. I grated both and mixed them to top the pizzas.
Yummy! Hot out of the oven – but cool enough that the cheese doesn’t scorch my tongue, this was just D – LISH – US!
