Chocolate Chip Cookies come in many different versions. Over the years I’ve made quite a bit of different types, from crunchy to soft. I much prefer the soft and chewy ones.
After searching the internet and all my recipe books, I found one with great reviews and decided to test it out. They baked just as I wanted – they were soft, moist and chewy, kinda like eating a cake with melted chocolate chips inside.
After that first day I popped them in the microwave for a few seconds to soften the chips. Warm cookies are sooooo much better than room temperature cookies. They taste just like they did when they first came out of the oven.
